Veil Complex / Cygnus

Image:  Ha - 12x10 minutes Sigma Reject combined . All images  dithered during acquisition and binned 1x1. Camera: ST10XME Non-ABG CCD. Taken through a Nikon 180mm ED lens at F/3.4 (1/2 stop) and 4.5mn H-Alpha filter on a Losmandy G-11 mount with Gemini Goto drive. Camera control and guiding software: --Auriga, my custom software package. Image was manually focused using a Hartman mask and Auriga focusing mode.  Location: my backyard in the light polluted skies of Dallas Texas.  Date taken:  Nov 23 2005
