Lagoon Nebula / Sagittarius / H-Alpha

Image:   Ha channel 11x15 minutes. All images dithered during acquisition and sigma reject sum combined. Camera: STL-11000 CCD. Taken through a 12.5 inch Newtonian Reflector @  f/5.6 (effective) with Paracorr corrector using standard Custom Scientific Ha (4.5 nm) filter on a Losmandy G-11 mount with Gemini Goto drive. Camera control and guiding software: --Auriga, my custom software package. Image was focused using FocusMax.  Location: Texas Star Party.  Date taken:  May 13 2007
