IC 2177 / Canis Major

Image:  17x10 minute integrations binned 1x1 through a Custom Scientific 4.5 nm  H-Alpha filter. Image was sigma reject mean combined Camera: ST10XME Non-ABG CCD. Taken through a Nikon 180mm ED telephoto lens on a Losmandy G-11 mount with Gemini Goto drive. Camera control and guiding software: Auriga, my custom software package. Image processing:  CS2 processing: smart sharpening, noise reduction,  histogram stretching, and small defect repair.
